From left, Andria Budbill, Jaime Burrous and Beatriz Abella are all smiles after winning first place in the Green Eggs and Slam Poetry contest on April 17 at the Juneau-Douglas High School auditorium. The three JDHS freshmen delivered an original poem written by Abella. The trio received prizes of cash and gifts.
