Organization description: JAHC, the formal arts agency for Juneau, is a community based arts organization with a mission to provide cultural opportunities to the community of Juneau.

Volunteer opportunities: Volunteers are needed to help on Community Day, Saturday, May 26, at the University of Alaska Southeast. Help local artists with JAHC's "Quick Draw" event. Helpers are needed to set up for the First Friday gallery walk 3:30-4:30 p.m. Two volunteers are also need to help during Concerts in the Park, 7-8:30 p.m. on Fridays June-August. Arrive around 6:30 p.m. to help set up and collect donations between performances. Extra office help is always wanted 9 a.m.-5 p.m. weekdays.

• Neighbors Helping Neighbors is a weekly feature on the Neighbors page and is in collaboration with the United Way of Southeast Alaska. More volunteer opportunities can be found online at the Volunteer Center of Southeast Alaska, www.unitedwayseak.org.
