Juneau police and fire officials and state police reported:

Drunken driving:

• At about 12:30 a.m. Sunday, Maria Guillermina Hoffman, 51, was arrested for drunken driving on Egan Drive. She was lodged at Lemon Creek Correctional Center and her vehicle was impounded.

Lost property:

• At about 9:30 a.m. Sunday, a 69-year-old man reported a lost Sony Cybershot camera valued at $250 in the Juneau area.


• At about 12:10 p.m. Saturday, a 24-year-old woman reported her vehicle was entered and a CD player faceplate, an iPod Nano and her pink cloth wallet were taken from the vehicle in the 8900 block of Mendenhall Loop Road. The items were valued at $550.

• At about 1:45 p.m. Saturday, a 56-year-old woman reported her unlocked Hyundai was entered but nothing was taken in the 10700 block of Horizon Drive.

• At about 7:25 p.m. Saturday, a 41-year-old woman reported her medication was stolen in the 1000 block of Salmon Creek Road.

• At about 8:30 p.m. Saturday, police received a report of the theft of $54 worth of gas by the occupants of a white, early-1990s Dodge Ram truck in the 8100 block of Glacier Highway.

• At about 8:50 p.m. Saturday, a 32-year-old woman reported her bracelet, valued at $5,000, was stolen in the 2800 block of Mendenhall Loop Road.

• At about 10:20 p.m. Saturday, a 28-year-old woman reported her silver GT mountain bike, valued at $275, was stolen in the 3300 block of Park Place.

• At about 9:50 p.m. Saturday, a 30-year-old woman reported her 1992 Mazda was stolen in the 9100 block of James Boulevard. The vehicle was later recovered and impounded for safekeeping.

• At about 11:15 a.m. Sunday, a 39-year-old woman reported a car stereo, valued at $100, was stolen from her vehicle sometime in the last week in the 2200 block of Crow Hill Drive.

Traffic stop:

• At about 10:50 a.m. Sunday, a 41-year-old woman was cited for driving without a license in the 4000 block of Douglas Highway. The vehicle was impounded.


• At about 9:20 p.m. Saturday, a 51-year-old woman reported her vehicle was egged on Hurlock Avenue.

• At about 4:45 a.m. Sunday, a 56-year-old man reported his vehicle and residence were egged sometime during the night in the 3700 block of Portage Boulevard.

• At about 4:45 a.m. Sunday, a 53-year-old man reported his 2000 Plymouth was vandalized in the 8300 block of Valley Avenue.

Vehicle accident:

• At about 2:15 p.m. Saturday, a brown 1992 Ford driven by an 18-year-old woman struck a silver 1993 Chevrolet driven by a 21-year-old man on Mendenhall Loop Road. The man was cited for driving without a license and his vehicle was impounded.

• At about 6:10 a.m. Sunday, Juneau police dispatched a deer after it was struck by a vehicle on North Douglas Highway.
