Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:

Driving while intoxicated:

• George Fawcett, 48, was arrested on a charge of drunken driving at 3:09 a.m. Sunday near Grant Street. He was lodged at Lemon Creek Correctional Center.


• A 1998 Ford was reported rifled at 3:21 p.m. Saturday near Second and Gold Streets. A computer, radar detector and $100 in cash were stolen. The items are valued at $3,220.

• A Jansport backpack containing gym clothes and a compact disc case with eight CDs was reported stolen at 3:48 p.m. Saturday from a 1998 Plymouth Neon near Sixth Street. No value estimate was available.


• A man, 42, was arrested for criminal trespass at 11:32 p.m. Saturday near S. Franklin Street. He was lodged at Lemon Creek Correctional Center.


• A woman, 21, reported a man, 19, punched a hole in a door at her residence at 8:23 p.m. Saturday near Mendenhall Loop Road.

• A maroon Dodge was reported keyed at 12:20 a.m. Sunday near Vintage Boulevard. The damage was estimated as $300 to the vehicle's hood.

Animal encounters:

• A bear was spotted in a garage at 4:12 a.m. Sunday near Rainbow Row. The resident was issued a warning for improper storage of garbage.

Vehicle accidents:

• A gold Chevrolet truck was reported struck in a hit-and-run at 11:30 a.m. Sunday near Douglas Highway. The truck sustained more than $2,000 damage to the rear panel, tail light and tire.
