The article on charter school funding in Tuesday's Empire misstated what the cap on school funding refers to. It is the maximum that a city can give the schools, not the minimum amount required by the state.
Due to an editor's error, Tuesday's story on changes to the Alaska Permanent Fund stated that it would take a constitutional amendment to use a portion of the fund on state government. It would only take a change in statute to use the money for government.
