Juneau police, fire officials, hospital officials and state troopers reported:

Driving while intoxicated:

A man, 34, reported to police about 9:30 a.m. Friday that he had been involved in a traffic accident while driving his 1994 Subaru on Egan Drive inbound near 10th Street. The driver of the other vehicle, a 2000 Ford, was subsequently arrested for driving while intoxicated. The operator was Darcy Neal, 46, of Hoonah. Neal was transferred to Lemon Creek Correctional Center. Both vehicles suffered about $100 damage each.

Thefts, lost/found items:

A woman, 51, reported losing her watch in the downtown area. The watch is gold with a combination nugget and stretch band. Each nugget area is inlaid with a circle of jade.

A man, 57, reported about 2 p.m. Friday that he had lost his gray Motorola flip phone somewhere in Juneau.

A man, 27, reported about 5:30 p.m. Friday the theft of 29 compact disks from his vehicle parked at his home on Glacierwood Court. Investigation continues.

A woman, 36, reported shortly before 7 p.m. Friday from a Juneau hotel that her purse had been stolen while left unattended for a few minutes. A hotel employee later found the purse in a men's room, but a Palm Pilot (a hand-held computerized personal calendar and data base) was missing.

The management of Big Kmart requested assistance with an employee about 9:30 p.m. Friday. The worker, a 26-year-old woman, was subsequently arrested for felony theft. She was transported to and lodged at state prison.


Police received a report about 9:30 p.m. Friday of a domestic dispute in the Mendenhall Valley. They responded and arrested a man, 41, for domestic violence assault and criminal mischief related to domestic violence. A woman, 38, was transported to Bartlett Regional Hospital for examination of injuries. The woman's condition did not require admission to the hospital, said the Bartlett nursing supervisor. The man was lodged at state prison. Alcohol was involved in the altercation.

Police received a report shortly after midnight Friday of a domestic dispute in the Lemon Creek area. They responded and arrested a man, 36, for domestic violence assault. He was lodged at state prison. Alcohol was involved.

Underage drinking:

After receiving a complaint shortly after noon Friday about possible underage drinking underway on David Street, officers contacted a boy, 18, and a boy, 17. The 18-year-old was issued a citation for minor consuming of alcohol.


A woman, 74, reported about 2:30 p.m. Friday that her vehicle parked on Northwood Drive had been vandalized. The paint was scratched with a sharp object. The vehicle suffered about $200 damage.


A woman, 20, was cited shortly before 1 p.m. Friday at the Juneau Police Station for driving without a valid operator's license. She was then released.

When police stopped on Egan Drive shortly before 4 p.m. Friday to provide assistance for the occupants of a disabled vehicle, a man, 30, was arrested on an outstanding Petersburg Police Department warrant.

Police received a report shortly after 2 a.m. Saturday or a fight at the Penthouse lounge. Responding officers arrested a man, 26, for criminal trespassing. He was lodged at the state prison.
