... for the cruise

The Cub Scouts and parents of Pack 6 thank Allen Marine Tours and the crew of the catamaran Sit' Ku for a delightful whale watching cruise on April 19.

Through the generosity of Allen Marine Tours, more than 65 children and adults enjoyed a memorable Saturday afternoon on the waters of Southeast Alaska watching whales, seals, eagles and Southeast Alaska's spectacular scenery.

Thank you Allen Marine!

...For a great event.

Thanks Juneau for helping make the 29th Annual Alaska Folk Festival the great event that it was. This volunteer event is successful for a couple major reasons: 1) All of the hundreds of wonderful folks who become members of the festival. It is their contributions that make it possible to continue the tradition of the largest free annual music event in Alaska. But money is not enough; 2) Without the many volunteers, there would be no Alaska Folk Festival. The following is a list of folks who helped make the Alaska Folk Festival happen, volunteers and business supporters. Without their help, the 29th Annual Alaska Folk Festival would have been less than it was. Any omissions are unintentional. Thanks to everyone, including those who just helped but never gave us their names.
