Last Sunday's issue of the Juneau Empire - "the voice of the capital city" - blasted Jim Clark and Paulette Simpson, two of Juneau's most experienced and effective anti-capital movers. As part of the Alaska Committee's political committee - made up of both Republicans and Democrats - for the last anti-move election, I observed Clark's and Simpson's invaluable expertise, long hours, dedication, and total commitment to winning that move election for Juneau. Partisan politics aside, how did the Empire's article and editorial commentary denigrating two of Juneau's most effective political insiders and anti-capital movers further keeping the Empire the voice of the capital city?
