The local March of Dimes will hold another March for Babies at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Dimond Park Field House.
Activities will include a petting zoo, two bouncy houses, face painting, balloons by comedian, magician and clown Jeff Brown and other kids activities. Cotton candy, snow cones and Turf for Tots toys will be available.
Participants will walk 1 mile (nine laps) inside the field house.
"Each lap represents one month of pregnancy," said March of Dimes volunteer Joleen Langel. "Anybody who wants to ... can come and walk with us."
A volunteer for three years, Langel said March if Dimes' ultimate goal is to one day ensure babies are born full-term and healthy.
"My personal goal is to raise awareness in community and within the state about what moms and dads can do to ensure babies are born healthy," she said.
For Langel, this includes a well-balanced diet for pregnant mothers and children, prenatal care, exams, avoiding drinking and smoking, etc.
"It's making good choices for yourself and for your future family," Langel said.
Cost is free, but donation are welcome. For more information, call Joleen Langel at 957-6970.
