Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:

Driving while intoxicated:

• Sandy Stewart Miller, 23, was arrested for drunken driving at 12:59 a.m. Thursday near Back Loop Road and the Mendenhall River. She was lodged at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center.


• About 80 gallons of heating fuel was reported stolen at 2:36 p.m. Wednesday near Sunset Street. The oil, valued at $120, was stolen sometime between Feb. 20 and March 14.

Vandalism and criminal mischief:

• A Dodge Neon was reported keyed at 4:44 p.m. Wednesday near Glacier Highway. Police did not have a damage estimate.

• An unknown vehicle drove onto a property, damaging flowers and a mailbox. The crime, which caused $100 in damage, was reported at 9:44 a.m. Thursday from Mendenhall Peninsula Road.

Underage drinking:

• Police cited a boy, 17, for underage drinking and possessing tobacco at 5:06 p.m. Wednesday near Sandy Beach in Douglas. He was released to his parent.

• A woman, 18, was cited for underage drinking at 10:28 p.m. Wednesday near Nowell Avenue.

Animal encounters:

• A bear pushed open a door to a home at 10:43 p.m. Wednesday near Glacier Highway in Lemon Creek. The door had no latch on it.


• Two women, both 39, were arrested for disorderly conduct at 2:42 p.m. Wednesday near South Franklin and Front Streets. Alcohol was a factor. The women were lodged at the state prison.
