Judgments

• James E. Stephens, 39, was found guilty of hindering prosecution, a misdemeanor, stemming from an offense of Jan. 5.

He originally was charged with making a false report.

Magistrate John W. Sivertsen sentenced him to 30 days in jail and a $50 surcharge.

• Ryan S. Jarvis, 22, was found guilty of furnishing alcohol to a minor, a misdemeanor, stemming from an offense of Feb. 13.

Sivertsen sentenced him to a $200 fine, 60 days in jail with 55 suspended, to complete the Juneau Alcohol Safety Action Program, and placed him on probation for one year with the standard conditions of release which include committing no crimes, violating no laws, complying with the sentence and paying a surcharge and the cost of incarceration.

• Benny B. Johnson, 20, was found guilty of drunken driving, a misdemeanor, stemming from an offense of Jan. 30.

His blood alcohol level around the time of his arrest was 0.142 percent. It is illegal to drive with a blood alcohol level above 0.08 percent.

Sivertsen sentenced him to a $3,000 fine with $1,500 suspended, 46 days in jail with 40 days suspended, a 90-day driver's license revocation, JASAP and placed him on probation for one year with the standard conditions of release.

Three counts of reckless endangerment, a misdemeanor, were dismissed.

• Briana M. Williams, 20, was found guilty of disorderly conduct, stemming from an offense of Feb. 14.

Sivertsen sentenced her to pay a $500 fine with $250 suspended, 10 days in jail with 10 days suspended, and placed her on probation for one year with the standard conditions of release which for her include completing an anger and alcohol management class with Tongass Community Counseling Services.

• Murel K. Anthony Jr., 44, was fond guilty of disorderly conduct stemming from an offense of Sept. 10.

The original charge was domestic violence assault.

Sivertsen sentenced him to 30 days in jail and a $50 surcharge.

• Lino J. Fenumiai, 21, was found guilty of criminal mischief, a misdemeanor, stemming from an offense of Dec. 28.

Sivertsen suspended imposition of sentence for two years pending a successful completion of his probation.

A charge of disorderly conduct was dismissed.

• Thad J. Smith, 22, was found guilty of drunken driving stemming from an offense of Feb. 21. His blood alcohol level was 0.199 percent.

Sivertsen sentenced him to pay a $3,000 fine with $1,500 suspended, 45 days in jail with 39 days suspended, a 90-day driver's license revocation, JASAP and placed him on probation with the standard conditions of release.

• Victor Z. Powell, 22, was found guilty of drunken driving stemming from an offense of Feb. 21.

His blood alcohol level around the time he was arrested was 0.155 percent.

Sivertsen sentenced him to pay a $5,000 fine with $4,000 suspended, 240 days in jail with 180 days suspended, a three-year driver's license revocation, JASAP and placed him on probation for three years. He also is prohibited from consuming alcohol or go where it is sold or served.

He also was found guilty of violating the conditions of his release, a misdemeanor, stemming from an offense of March 9.

He was sentenced to pay a $500 fine, 30 days in jail with 20 days suspended, JASAP and placed him on probation for three years with the standard conditions of release.

A second charge of violating the conditions of release was dismissed.
