Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:

Drunken driving:

• Police arrested Thomas Miller, 42, on a charge of drunken driving at 3:23 p.m. Thursday on Vintage Boulevard in the Mendenhall Valley. Police also charged him with reckless endangerment and arrested him on a warrant alleging he had failed to appear at court hearing on a felony charge of fourth-degree misconduct involving a controlled substance. They lodged him at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

• Police arrested Richard Brommels, 33, on a drunken-driving charge at 10:15 p.m. Friday near Marine Park. He was lodged at the state prison.

• Police arrested Franklin H. Tompkins, 38, on a drunken-driving charge at 3 a.m. Saturday near Glacier Highway. He was lodged at the state prison.

• Police arrested Haven Michael Harris, 25, on a drunken-driving charge at 2:20 a.m. Saturday near Cordova Street. He was lodged at the state prison.

Domestic dispute:

• Police arrested a man, 41, on a charge of domestic-violence assault at 5:52 p.m. Thursday in the Mendenhall Valley. They lodged him at the state prison.

Assault:

• Police arrested a man, 56, on an assault charge at 6:20 p.m. Thursday near South Franklin Street downtown. He was lodged at the state prison.

• Police arrested a woman, 29, on an assault charge at 8:30 p.m. Friday near South Franklin Street. She was lodged at the state prison.

• Police arrested a man, 21, on an assault charge at 7 a.m. Saturday near North Douglas Highway. He was lodged at the state prison.

Drug incidents:

• Police cited two men, both 19, on charges of sixth-degree misconduct involving a controlled substance at 12:03 a.m. Friday near Skater's Cabin in the Mendenhall Valley.

Theft:

• Police arrested a girl, 14, on a larceny charge, accusing her of shoplifting at 2:39 p.m. Thursday near West Willoughby Avenue. They released her to her mother.

• A woman reported at 11 a.m. Saturday near Gold Street that a surveying device worth $500 was stolen from a parking garage.

Vandalism:

• A man reported at 4:44 p.m. Thursday that his 1999 Chevrolet Blazer was scratched with a key down the length of both doors near Behrends Avenue downtown. Damage was estimated at $1,000.

Vehicle accidents:

• A woman reported at 6 p.m. Friday near Mendenhall Loop Road that her 2004 Subaru was struck by a 1997 Chevy pickup driven by a girl, 17. The Subaru had $3,000 damage.

Hit and run:

• A woman reported at 2:11 p.m. Thursday that an unknown vehicle struck her 1996 Dodge near Glacier Highway in the Lemon Creek area. Damage was estimated at $1,200.

Animal encounters:

• A caller at 8:14 a.m. Friday near St. Ann's Avenue in Douglas reported a bear breaking her fence and taking trash from her yard.
