The family of Dorothy A. Osborne would like to offer our sincere thanks and appreciation to the nurses, CNAs and staff at the Juneau Pioneers' Home for all the loving care given to her during her residency there.
We also felt that loving care when we arrived back in Juneau and were offered a room to use as a "Family Room" which enabled us to stay near Dorothy during her last hours here on earth. As Alaskans we should all be proud of our Pioneers Homes. According to one of Dorothy's daughters (who lives in the Lower 48).
"I have visited eldercare facilities down home and this is the Cadillac of care. Other states should use the Pioneers Homes as an example for their care facilities."
Again we express our gratitude to all who cared for Dorothy.
We would also like to thank those who attended Dorothy's memorial and those who gave to local food banks, the Juneau Pioneers Home and other charities. She would have been honored by your generously in her name as we are.
We can be reached at The Renhards, 9138 Arlon St. Ste. A3 #317, Anchorage, AK 99507.
