Friends of the Flowers announces Adopt-A-Flower Program

JUNEAU - Friends of the Flowers is pleased to be involved in the Adopt-A-Flower program.
Each year Parks & Recreation plants nearly 20,000 annual flowers that are raised from seed. The program is greatly enhanced by the public's donations.
Donations are tax deductible. Adopt a barrel filled with annual flowers for $75, adopt a colorful hanging basket for only $100 or have your business recognized by adopting a flower bed for $250. All donations of $75 or more will be recognized on the official donor recognition sign, prominently displayed downtown.
Applications may be picked-up at the Parks & Rec office in City Hall, or in a number of local businesses throughout Juneau. Please call 586-5226 to have an application mailed to you.
