Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:

Driving while intoxicated:

Shortly before 3 a.m. today, Robert Dilg, 28, was arrested for drunken driving on Glacier Highway and lodged by police at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

About 4 p.m. Wednesday, James Hutchison, 54, was arrested on Third Street in Juneau for drunken driving and leaving the scene of an accident. Police officers apprehended him after responding to a report of a hit-and-run accident in Douglas. Hutchison was lodged at state prison. His vehicle was released to his wife.


About 6:40 p.m. Wednesday, a man, 33, was arrested in the Mendenhall Valley for domestic violence assault. He was transported to and lodged at state prison.

At 12:30 a.m. Wednesday, a man, 51, was arrested in Douglas for domestic violence assault and lodged at state prison. Alcohol was involved in the incident.

Thefts, lost and found property:

About 2 p.m. Wednesday, $20 in pennies was found in the lobby of the Juneau Police Department at 6255 Alaway Ave. The money was placed into safekeeping.

Fires, alarms:

Capital City Fire & Rescue responded to a maliciously pulled alarm at Juneau-Douglas High School just after 8 a.m. Wednesday.

Capital City Fire & Rescue responded to a stack fire on Kennedy Street shortly before 10 a.m. Wednesday. Contractors burning rubbish in the wood stove of a residence got it too hot, creating some smoke but little damage.

Just before 5 a.m. today, Capital City Fire & Rescue responded to a carbon monoxide alarm on Emily Way. It appeared to be a false alarm and no one was transported for medical treatment.

Vehicle accidents:

About 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, a Ford Explorer hit a Honda Civic on West 10th Street. The Explorer suffered $500 damage. The Honda suffered $2,000 damage. A driver, a woman, 18, was cited for failure to yield.

Alcohol-related calls: 2.
