Tree donated for veterans totem pole

KETCHIKAN - Military veterans from Prince of Wales Island are the recipients of a red cedar tree that will be carved into a totem pole in their honor.
Aaron Isaacs, a spokesman for the veterans, says the U.S. Forest Service donated the tree.
Isaacs says the tree has been selected and when weather permits will be transported to the Klawock totem shed.
