The Juneau-Douglas High School junior varsity softball team ended its road trip undefeated Tuesday after a 13-0 win over host Ketchikan.
Katie Damian fired seven shutout innings and scattered five hits to earn the win. She also helped her own cause with four base hits.
Nicole Fenumiai and Trixie Abella each went 3-for-5 while Ashliegh Wilwert was 3-for-4 for the Crimson Bears.
The Bears' Courtney Wagner and Tara Hansen added two base hits each.
On Monday, JDHS took both ends of a doubleheader from host Prince of Wales.
Abella pitched five strong innings as Juneau-Douglas routed POW, 17-6, in game one.
Hansen led the hit parade with a 4-for-5 effort, including a triple.
Wilwert went 3-for-4 with a home run while Fenumiai, Abella and Damian each went 2-for-3.
In the second game, Damian yielded five hits in seven innings as the Bears upended Prince of Wales, 5-0.
Abella was 2-for-3 with a double, Brittany Weideman doubled and singled and Wilwert went 2-for-3 with a triple.
The Bears' J.V. team hosts Sitka today at 5 p.m., followed by the varsity at 7 p.m.
