Earthquake occurs Saturday near Kodiak

ANCHORAGE - A minor earthquake occurred southwest of Kodiak.

The Alaska Earthquake Information Center said the quake struck Saturday afternoon at 1:50 p.m. and had a preliminary magnitude of 3.6. It was centered 95 miles southwest of Kodiak.

There were no reports that it was felt or caused any damage.
