Justin Dorn scored two goals to lead the Juneau-Douglas boys soccer team to a comeback tie over the Chugiak Mustangs in Anchorage Thursday.
Down 2-0, Dorn tipped in a crossing pass from Matt Wetzstein at the 38th minute to score for Juneau. Dorn scored at the 48th minute on an assist from Robert Lossett to make it 3-2 Crimson Bears just three minutes after Aaron Ver hustled to score an unassisted goal.
Chugiak tied the game on a free kick at the 51st minute, and took the lead 4-3 at the 63rd on a header off a throw-in.
Travis Croteau secured the tie at the 72nd minute off a low, crossing assist pass from Ver.
Juneau plays East Anchorage today and finishes its road trip Saturday against undefeated Dimond.
Juneau girls fall to Mustangs
Three key players suffered injuries and had to leave the game during Juneau's 3-0 loss to Chugiak Thursday.
Allison Orsi received stitches above her eye after being struck by a kicked ball, while Annie Heffern suffered a knee injury and is questionable for today's game against East Anchorage. Ella Magallanes also left the game with an injury. Orsi is expected to play today, coach Sandi Wagner said.
