Juneau-Douglas High School baseball: Juneau JV vs. Sitka JV, 11 a.m.; Craig varsity vs. Ketchikan JV, 11 a.m. (Melvin); Sitka JV vs. Ketchikan JV, 2 p.m.; Ketchikan varsity vs. Sitka varsity, 3 p.m.; Juneau varsity vs. Ketchikan varsity, 6 p.m., all games unless noted at Adair-Kennedy Memorial Park baseball field, games noted with (Melvin) at Melvin Park.

Juneau-Douglas High School track and field: Field events and track preliminary events start at 2 p.m. at Adair-Kennedy Memorial Park track.

Juneau Freewheelers False Outer Point Time Trial: Registration 5:30 p.m., race starts 6:30 p.m., course 10-plus miles, cyclists race against the clock on out-and-back course on North Douglas Highway, helmets required for all racers. Info: Betsy Fischer, 586-6780 work/789-2033 home.

Juneau-Douglas High School track and field: Field events and track finals start at 8 a.m. at Adair-Kennedy Memorial Park track.

May Day Mud (and Mountain) Run: Registration 8:15-8:45 a.m. at Fish Creek Parking Lot (North Douglas Highway), race starts 9 a.m. at Fish Creek Park, two new courses (3 miles and 7 miles) through the wetlands, pre-registration $5, day-of-race registration $8. Info: Bob Deal, 789-3123.

Open Gyms:

OPEN BADMINTON GYM: Mondays and Thursdays at Auke Bay School Gym from 8-10 p.m. Teens through adults welcome. Cost is $3. Thursday, April 27, is last open gym for the season. Info: Theresa Walden, 790-2499.
