Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:

Sound off on the important issues at

Drunken driving:

• Police arrested 26-year-old Heath W. Parker on a charge of drunken driving at 11:19 p.m. Thursday in the 1700 block of Glacier Avenue downtown. They also charged him with refusing to have his blood-alcohol level measured. Police lodged him in the Lemon Creek Correction Center and impounded the vehicle he was driving.

• Police arrested 28-year-old Ray Maurice Brogdon on a charge of drunken driving after the 1991 Chevrolet Caprice he was driving reportedly struck a parked 2005 truck at 2:23 a.m. Saturday in the 1800 block of Northwood Drive in the Lemon Creek area. They also charged him with two counts of reckless endangerment and driving without a license. Police impounded the vehicle he was driving.

Domestic violence:

• Police arrested a 41-year-old man on a charge of violating a domestic-violence order at 1:52 a.m. in the Douglas area. They lodged him at the state prison.

• Police arrested a 30-year-old man on a charge of domestic-violence assault at 2:10 a.m. Saturday in the Lemon Creek area. They lodged him at the state prison.

Disorderly conduct:

• Police arrested a 35-year-old man on a charge of disorderly conduct at 8:11 p.m. Friday in the 2500 block of Industrial Avenue. They lodged him at the state prison.

Burglary:

• At 1 p.m. Thursday, a shed in the 7000 block of Gladstone Street in the Mendenhall Valley was reported burglarized sometime in the last several weeks.

Theft:

• A laptop computer valued at $2,500 was reported stolen at 4:36 p.m. Thursday in the 500 block of Kennedy Street downtown.

• A purse was reported stolen at 6:35 p.m. Friday from an unlocked 1993 Mitsubishi in the 1200 block of West Ninth Street downtown.

• An audio system was reported stolen at 6:52 p.m. Friday from an unlocked 1992 Chevrolet near Gold and Fifth streets downtown.

Vandalism:

• The back window of a 1994 Chevrolet Impala was reported vandalized at 6:54 p.m. Thursday near Third Street downtown.

• Tires on two vehicles were reported slashed at 8:24 a.m. Saturday in the 3200 block of Tongass Boulevard in the valley.

• Tires were reported slashed at 9:30 Saturday on two vehicles in the 3200 block of Tongass Boulevard.

• Tires were reported slashed at 9:57 a.m. Saturday on two vehicles in the 3500 block of Sierra Street in the valley.

Vehicle accidents:

• A pickup truck reportedly hit a bus at 8:57 a.m. Friday in the 3200 block of Hospital Drive. Damage was estimated at $100 to the bus.

• Police cited a 52-year-old woman on a charge of failing to maintain a safe distance in traffic after an accident at 5:17 p.m. Friday on outbound Egan Drive at Mendenhall Loop Road. She was driving a 1999 Izuzu Rodeo that sustained an estimated $2,500 in damage in the accident. Damage was estimated at $1,500 to the other car, a 2000 Subaru Legacy, driven by a 53-year-old woman.

Hit and run:

• A 2006 Subaru reported stuck by an unknown vehicle at 8:57 a.m. Friday in the 8100 block of Glacier Highway.

• A 2004 Hyundai was reported struck by an unknown vehicle at 10:46 a.m. Saturday near D and Third streets downtown.

Traffic stops:

• Police impounded a vehicle at 1 p.m. Thursday after citing the driver, a 20-year-old woman, on a charge of driving without a license.

Underage drinking:

• Police cited an 18-year-old man on an underage drinking charge at 11:24 p.m. Thursday in the 1500 block of Third Street in Douglas.

• Police cited a 19-year-old man on a charge of driving after underage drinking, refusing to have his blood-alcohol level measured and driving with an expired license at 1:01 a.m. Friday on Douglas Highway near Cordova Street.

• Police cited an 18-year-old man on a charge of underage drinking at 6:35 a.m. Saturday at Sandy Beach in the Douglas area.

Animal encounters:

• A 2000 Ford truck driven by a 21-year-old woman reportedly struck and killed a deer at 8:10 a.m. Friday on Mendenhall Loop Road in the Auke Bay area. Minor damage was reported to the vehicle.

• A black bear was reportedly seen at 2:35 a.m. Saturday near Davis Avenue in the Lemon Creek area.
