Juneau police, fire and hospital officials and state troopers reported:

Driving while intoxicated:

Shortly after 5 p.m. Monday, police arrested James Hutchison, 54, for drunken driving on Douglas Highway. He was transported to the Lemon Creek Correctional Center. Hutchison also was arrested for drunken driving as well as hit-and-run Wednesday.

Assaults:

Shortly after 1 p.m. Monday, police responded to a report of child abuse/neglect. A man, 36, was arrested on an outstanding Craig Police Department warrant citing a state charge of failure to comply with alcohol screening recommendations. He was additionally charged with five counts of domestic violence assault. Alcohol was involved in the incident. The man was transported to state prison.

Police officers responded shortly after 8 p.m. Monday to a report of an altercation in Pocket Park, downtown at the corner of Front and Franklin Streets. They transported an injured man, 22, to Bartlett Regional Hospital. The man was treated for facial lacerations and contusions and discharged home in good condition.

Thefts, lost and found items:

About 8:30 a.m. Monday, police received a report about a misplaced wallet in the Mt. Roberts Tram area.

About 10 a.m. Monday, a woman, 50, reported to police that she lost a gold nugget set with a one carat diamond somewhere in the Mendenhall Valley. The value is $6,800.

About 2 p.m. Monday, a downtown business at Sealaska Plaza reported a Nikon digital camera valued at $300 stolen over the past week.

About 11:15 p.m. Monday, a woman reported her cell phone lost some time Sunday in the Juneau area.

Vandalism and criminal mischief:

Shortly before 9 a.m. Monday, a woman, 42, reported someone spray-painted her skiff on Marguerite Street on Friday night.

About 1:30 p.m. Monday, a woman, 50, reported a tire on her vehicle slashed Saturday night on Aurora Drive.

Other:

About 12:30 p.m. Monday, an officer cited a girl, 17, for tobacco possession near the corner of Glacier Avenue and Spruce Street.

Warrant arrests:

Shortly before 1 p.m. Monday, a girl, 14, was arrested at Cornerstone on an outstanding Juneau Alaska State Troopers detention order. She was transported to and lodged at Johnson Youth Center.
