JUNEAU - The pharmacy at the SouthEast Alaska Regional Health Consortium Ethel Lund Medical Center will be undergoing an equipment upgrade from May 14 to 21. Patients will experience some delays getting prescriptions refilled during that week.
This process will affect SEARHC's pharmacy in Juneau only. The center is installing a ScriptPro Robotic Prescription Dispensing System, and the installation process and staff training will occur during this week.
While the pharmacy will be open for regular business hours from May 14 to 21, patients may want to avoid getting prescription refills that week, the center announced.
Once the ScriptPro machine is installed and in operation, patients will see shorter wait times and higher accuracy since all prescriptions now will have scanned bar codes, the center said.
