Actions in the final days of this year's legislative session include:
A school construction and maintenance package including four new rural schools and 32 major maintenance projects. Juneau projects include $9 million to help renovate JuneauDouglas High School and $2.5 million toward new classrooms at the University of Alaska Southeast.

Legislation lowering the blood alcohol level at which a driver is considered intoxicated from 0.10 to 0.08.
A delay in the effective date of the high school exam to 2004.
A measure reinstating criminal penalties for minors who repeatedly consume alcohol.
