Nicole Monroe of Nenana, and Thad Mills of Juneau, will be married in a ceremony on May 18, 2002, at 7 p.m., at the Log Chapel at the Chapel by the Lake. Friends and relatives of the couple are invited to the reception, which will be held at the Baranof Hotel at 8 p.m.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Carol Dana and Nick Monroe. She is a graduate of JDHS and is employed as a manager for Java Jazz.
The groom-elect is the son of Shirley Penrose and Ed Mills. He is a graduate of JDHS and is employed as a carpenter for the Carpenters Union.
The maid of honor is Sarah Elliott, the flower girl is Katie Lynn and the best man is Matt DuBois. The ushers are Tommy Penrose, Andy Mills, Danny Penrose, Austin Oney, and the ring bearer is Kynan Monroe.
The couple will make their home in Juneau.
