Juneau police and fire officials and state police reported:

Attempt to serve:

• At about 6:50 p.m. Friday, a 16-year-old boy was arrested on a detention order on Montgomery Street. He was lodged at Johnson Youth Center.

• At about 10:40 p.m. Friday, a 24-year-old man was arrested on a $100,000 warrant on Ninth Street. He was lodged at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center.


• At about 9:40 p.m. Friday, an investigation continued into a report of a burglary in the 8700 block of Douglas Highway.

• At about 11:45 a.m. Saturday, an 18-year-old man reported his camera and lens, valued at $2,300, stolen from his garage in the 2100 block of Cascade Street.

Conditions violation:

• At about 2:50 p.m. Friday, a 57-year-old man reported a 41-year-old woman violated a domestic violence protective order in downtown Juneau.


• At about 7:45 p.m. Friday, police conducted an investigation into a death in the 9500 block of Meadow Lane.


• At about 4:20 p.m. Thursday, a 29-year-old man was arrested on a warrant in the 6500 block of Glacier Highway. He was lodged at the state prison.

• At about 6 p.m. Thursday, a 53-year-old man was arrested on an outstanding Juneau Police Department warrant in the 9200 block of Emily Way.

• At about 2:50 a.m. Saturday, an 18-year-old woman reported an assault in the 13000 block of Douglas Highway.

Drunken driving:

• At about 1:55 a.m. Saturday, Geraldeen Louise Reetz, 32, was arrested for drunken driving on Willoughby Avenue. She was lodged at the state prison and her vehicle was impounded.

Lost property:

• At about 8:25 p.m. Friday, a 26-year-old man reported he lost his red/purple Panasonic digital camera and gray Samsung camera case in the Juneau area.

Sex crime:

• At about 11:05 a.m. Friday, a confidential investigation began regarding a reported sexual assault in the Juneau area.


• At about 9:05 p.m. Thursday, a 29-year-old man reported the window of his vehicle broken and a purse stolen from it on Skaters Cabin Road.

• At about 9:30 a.m. Friday, a 67-year-old woman reported her wallet stolen from a business in the 9100 block of Mendenhall Mall Road.

• At about 9:35 a.m. Friday, a 63-year-old woman was cited and released for concealment of merchandise in the 5200 block of Glacier Highway.

• At about 2:50 p.m. Friday, a 47-year-old woman reported a stolen mountain kike, valued at $3,630, in the 7900 block of Gladstone Street.

• At about 7:30 p.m. Friday, an investigation continued regarding a theft from a business in the 8100 block of Glacier Highway.

• At about 2:35 a.m. Saturday, a 32-year-old woman reported $200 stolen from her purse in the 200 block of Front Street.

• At about 8:50 a.m. Saturday, a 46-year-old woman reported a backpack, laptop, camera and hard drive, total value of $1,155, stolen from her vehicle in the 5000 block of Sheep Creek Mine Road.

Traffic hazard:

• At about 12:25 p.m. Friday, a 1993 Chrysler was impounded in the 100 block of Cordova Street.


• At about 7:55 a.m. Friday, a 54-year-old man reported a public bathroom had been vandalized in the 1100 block of Calhoun Avenue. Damage to the soap dispenser was valued at $200.

• At about 9:25 a.m. Saturday, a 78-year-old man reported vandalism to his 2003 GMC truck in the 3200 block of Bresee Street.

Vehicle accident:

• At about 9:20 p.m. Friday, a 1991 Mazda struck a mailbox, causing $300 in damage, in the 700 block of Ninth Street.
