Troopers cautioning drivers of pedestrians

Posted: Sunday, May 10, 2009

ANCHORAGE - Alaska State Troopers are cautioning drivers on the Seward Highway to keep their eyes out for pedestrian traffic from people parked along the highway for dipnetting.

The dipnet fishery continues through the end of May. During the season, there's a dramatic increase in the number of cars parked along the highway near the 20 Mile River south of Anchorage.
