FAIRBANKS - The Alaska Gasline Port Authority has lost one of its three original members.
The North Slope Borough has dropped out of the authority, which was created in 1999 by public votes in Fairbanks and Valdez and on the North Slope, to bring natural gas to more Alaskans.
The North Slope Borough Assembly voted this week to back out of the authority.
