Organization description: Patients can receive a variety of health care services at home through Hospice and Home Care of Juneau, including nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy and social work. In addition, we offer hospice care at home to patients diagnosed with a terminal illness. We also offer in-home volunteer support to our clients as well as bereavement support to the general community.

Volunteer positions available: We are currently looking for in-home and bereavement support volunteers, a musical director for our Threshold Choir and someone familiar with MS Access to advise us on our volunteer database. Other special project volunteer positions are also available.

Prerequisites: Training is required for in-home and bereavement support volunteers
