Thanks to tutoring Costco employees

Sound off on the important issues at

Glacier Valley School would like to thank Costco employees who have dedicated one hour each week this spring to tutor first grade students in reading. The students look forward to each session, and especially enjoy working with these brave volunteers they see whenever they get to visit the store. We appreciate the effort that has gone into making this an effective program for our students, and hope we can continue our relationship with Costco next year!

Thanks, Brett, for teaching storytelling

The teachers and kids at The Learning Connection in Cedar Park would like to send big hugs to Brett Dillingham! We were all fortunate enough to learn the incredible craft of storytelling by attending workshops with Brett at the center in the month of April. To top it off the kids had a fantastic time performing the stories they created to their friends and families. Brett, our students wanted to say, "You are kind, funny and talented. Thank you for our thinking!"

Thanks for donating to our dance group

Lda Kut Naax Sati Yatx'i (All Nations' Children) would like to thank Kenneth Lea and his wife, Kathy Lea, for their gift of the "Cousins" box drum made by Kenneth. Our dog salmon children will be honored to use the drum whenever possible. We greatly appreciate the confidence and support this gift shows to our children. We can never repay your generosity.
