Police charge man with assault at UAF

FAIRBANKS - Police at the University of Alaska Fairbanks say they have arrested a man who threatened a couple in a campus parking lot.
Larry Garritt Anderson, 40, is charged with two counts of assault and one of drugs misconduct.
A woman told police a man claiming to have a weapon in the parking lot of Signers Hall reached under the seat of his pickup and threatened to shoot her husband.
The couple fled into the building and called police.
