Potlatch for Cecilia Kunz

Donations are being sought for the upcoming potlatch celebrating the life and accomplishments of Cecilia Kunz.

Please help us with any of the following: deer meat, seal (whole), moose meat, bear (fresh), king salmon, halibut, dried fish, naiadee, herring eggs, canned fish, clams or cockles, crab, gumboots, hooligan, seal oil, berries, bananas, desserts, soda, candy, fruit.

Use disposable utensils (aluminum trays, etc.) if possible.

Deliver by Friday, 1 p.m., May 16.

If the donation is frozen, please bring it to the Alaska Native Brotherhood Hall thawed on the May 15. If you have your food in cans or jars, please bring it to Dana N. Ruaro at the ANB president's office, 320 West Willoughby Ave., Suite 300.

Thane neighborhood meeting

The Thane Neighborhood Association will hold its annual meeting and potluck Sunday at 5:30 p.m., May 18, at Marjorie Menzi and Bill Heumann's home, 6000 Thane. For further information, please call 586-9768.

Glory Hole dinner shifts

The Glory Hole has several dinner shifts coming up during the next several months that are available for "adoption" by local organizations.
