Harborview Elementary School Principal Bob Dye lifts kindergartner Sarah Quigley from the back of a flatbed truck he and teacher Dave Haas planned to sleep in overnight on Tuesday in the school's playground. Dye said he would sleep out if his students read 5,555 books - instead they read 7,500. Dye planned to sleep on the school's roof but the district's risk-management staff nixed that idea.
