Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:


• A mountain bike was reported stolen at 6:49 p.m. Thursday in the 3800 block of Mendenhall Loop Road.

• At 10 a.m. Saturday near Willoughby Avenue, a man, 45, was cited on a shoplifting charge and released.

Hit and run:

• At 6:33 p.m. Thursday, a 2000 Plymouth was reported struck by an unknown vehicle in the 4300 block of University Drive. Damage was estimated at $2,000.

• At 10:30 p.m. Friday near Lawson Creek Road, a man, 42, sustained minor injuries after being struck by a vehicle, which left the scene without stopping.

Vehicle accidents:

• At 12:45 p.m. Friday near Egan Drive and Vanderbilt Hill, a 1999 Dodge truck driven by a man, 36, rear-ended a 2002 Dodge truck driven by a woman, 24. The woman was taken to Bartlett Regional Hospital. The man was cited on a charge of not keeping a safe distance.


• At 7:15 p.m. Friday in the Mendenhall Valley, a man, 34, was arrested on a charge of domestic-violence assault. He was lodged at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

• At 3:40 a.m. Saturday in Douglas, a man, 41, was arrested on a charge of domestic-violence assault and violating the conditions of his release. He was lodged at the state prison.

Traffic stop:

• Police impounded a vehicle in the 9100 block of Mendenhall Mall Road at 5:19 p.m. Thursday after citing the driver, a man, 25, on a charge of driving without a valid license.

Calls related to alcohol: 0.

Calls related to domestic violence: 2.
