Police arrested 23-year-old Michael Patterson on a charge of drunken driving at 2:20 a.m. Sunday in the 400 block of Willoughby Avenue downtown. They lodged him at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center and additionally charged him with sixth-degree misconduct involving a controlled substance, driving with his license revoked and two counts of reckless endangerment. They impounded the vehicle he was driving.
Police arrested 32-year-old Kenneth Arriaga on a charge of drunken driving at 3:05 a.m. Sunday on outbound Egan Drive near Whittier Street downtown. They lodged him at the state prison and additionally charged him with driving while his license was suspended. They impounded the vehicle he was driving.
Police arrested 27-year-old Clifford Demmert on a charge of drunken driving at 3:17 a.m. Sunday on Franklin Street near First Street downtown. They lodged him at the state prison and impounded the vehicle he was driving.
Police arrested a 29-year-old man on charges of assault and reckless endangerment at 2:34 p.m. Saturday in the 300 block of Gastineau Avenue downtown. They lodged him at the state prison.
Police arrested a 30-year-old woman on a charge of assault at 8:04 p.m. Saturday in the 200 block of Front Street downtown. They lodged her at the state prison.
Police arrested a 23-year-old man at 9:20 p.m. Saturday in the 100 block of Franklin Street downtown. They lodged him at the state prison.
Police cited two girls, ages 16 and 17, on shoplifting charges at 7:18 p.m. Saturday in the 400 block of South Franklin Street.
About $500 in damage was reported at 3:54 a.m. Sunday in vandalism to a Pontiac Grand Am in the 9200 block of Hurlock Avenue near the airport.
Police impounded a vehicle at 2:34 a.m. on Glacier Highway in the Lemon Creek area after citing the driver, a 22-year-old man, on a charge of driving without a license.
Capital City Fire and Rescue crews responded at 12:45 p.m. Saturday to a report of a fire in the Switzer Village Mobile Home Park in the Lemon Creek area. Firefighters discovered lawn furniture burning. Damage from the fire was limited to lawn furniture and a nearby shed. The cause was under investigation.
Police cited a 20-year-old man on charges of underage drinking and being a minor at a business licensed to sell alcohol at 11:39 p.m. Saturday in the 200 block of Front Street.
