ANCHORAGE - A man's body has been found in Anchorage woods, the third body found in the city in a week.
Anchorage police say a child discovered the body Thursday while playing at Campbell Park.
Lt. Dave Parker said there were no signs of foul play, the same as with the two other men found dead.
He says there are no known connections among the men.
The first body was found May 7 by a participant of Anchorage's annual litter cleanup effort. The body of 57-year-old Stanley Ivey was found in woods southeast of 20th Avenue and Ingra Street.
The second body was found Tuesday in a tent near the Anchorage jail.
As with the others, the latest body found was taken to the state medical examiner's office to determine identification and cause of death.
