Former Juneau resident Catherine Ann (Williams) McMillan, 62, died May 6, 2004, at her Lynnwood, Wash., home of cancer.
She was born March 3, 1942, in Juneau to J. Gerald and Harriet Williams. She lived in Juneau and Anchorage until the early 1960s. She spent her school years in Juneau, graduating from Juneau-Douglas High School in 1960. She graduated from the University of Washington in Seattle. She remained in the Seattle area until her death.
Her family said she was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed her job in the cashier's office at Edmonds Community College in Lynwood.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 39 years, Ralph B. McMillan, who died in 2001.
She is survived by her son, James B. (Renee Toby) McMillan of Tacoma, Wash.; her daughter, Joyce (Devin) Kathol of Everett, Wash.; grandchildren, Maria and Andrew McMillan, Brandon and Ryan Toby, and Alisa and Serena Kathol; and several cousins.
