Keep Alaska elections clean of 'soft money'

Letter to the editor

Posted: Monday, May 16, 2005

Gov. Murkowski is pushing a bill in special session that would allow unlimited corporate contributions to political parties in Alaska. This is a shameless attempt by the governor, and the Randy Ruedrich-led Republican Party to buy elections. The Legislature should stand up to Gov. Murkowski and vote down unlimited "soft money." Let's keep our elections as clean as we can.
