Bear complaint:

• At 11:24 a.m. Monday, a bear was reported in the 500 block of Hemlock Street.

Domestic violence:

• At 7:45 a.m. Monday, a 25-year-old Juneau man was arrested on a charge of domestic violence assault. He was lodged at Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

Driving while intoxicated:

• Colette Newell was arrested on a charge of driving while intoxicated at 4:34 a.m. Tuesday on Trinity Drive. Her vehicle was impounded, and she was lodged at the state prison.

Theft:

• At 6:14 a.m. Monday, a vehicle rifling was reported in the 700 block of Fifth Street.

• At 7:06 a.m. Monday, a 2001 Chevrolet Silverado was reported stolen in the 3200 block of Nowell Avenue.

• At 8:16 a.m. Monday, a vehicle rifling was reported in the 1400 block of Fourth Street.

• At 10:19 a.m. Monday, a woman reported the Friday theft of a jacket with her identification in it in the 200 block of Front Street.

• At 11:06 a.m. Monday, a vehicle rifling was reported in the 3100 block of Nowell Avenue.

• At 11:24 a.m. Monday a vehicle rifling was reported in the 700 block of Fourth Street.

• At 11:46 a.m. Monday, the theft of a Dell laptop in a black case, a Lacie hard drive and office supplies was reported from an unlocked vehicle in the 700 block of Fifth Street.

• At 3:53 p.m. Monday, a gold ring and a gold ring with three opals were reported stolen within the last three days in the Juneau area.

• At 8:22 p.m. Monday, a pink V-tech learning center worth $100 was reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 800 block of Fourth Street.

• At 1:27 a.m. Tuesday, a theft from a vehicle was reported in the 200 block of Fourth Street. Stolen were a Kelty nylon backpack, black rain gear, Pentax and Olympus cameras with two lenses, a first-aid kit, a wallet and a fleece sweater, together worth $1,231.

Traffic accident:

• A 27-year-old man was cited on a charge of lacking proof of insurance at 3:06 p.m. Monday after an accident in the 3800 block of Mendenhall Loop Road. His Nissan had $1,500 in damage, and the bus driven by a 60-year-old man had $1,000 in damage.

Vandalism:

• At 7:06 a.m. Monday, vandalism was reported to two vehicles in the 3200 block of Nowell Avenue.

• At 8:19 a.m. Monday, about $200 in vandalism was reported to a vehicle on Glacier Avenue.

• At 5:04 p.m. Monday, the rear window of a vehicle was reported damaged in the 3400 block of Nowell Avenue.

• At 9:59 p.m. Monday, a window at a home was broken in the 2800 block of Peters Lane.
