Erik Espinoza, front, from the World Famous Pike Place Fish Company, ceremonially tosses a Copper River salmon off an Alaska Airlines cargo plane Tuesday at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport in Seattle. The first fish cargo flight from Cordova to Seattle carried 32,000 pounds of the sought-after salmon. The fish, caught less than 24 hours before, were expected to be on dinner tables in Seattle, Los Angeles and Boston by evening. Alaska Airlines expected to deliver as many as 160,000 pounds of Copper River salmon on Tuesday alone.
