Ida Hopkins Kadashan

A graveside service for Ida Hopkins Kadashan will be held at the Alaskan Memorial Park at noon Wednesday, May 21, 2003.

Kadashan, who was born in Hoonah on May 22, 1906, died in Juneau on March 3, 2003.

She was a teacher, basket-weaver, volunteer, mother and deacon at her Presbyterian church in Hoonah.

The honorary pallbearers for the ceremony will be Richard Garrison, Norman Williams, Jacob White Sr., Jerry White Sr., Karl Greenwald Sr., George Stevens, David Light and Clinton Miller.

Pallbearers will be Mike Sheakley, David Sheakley, Willis Marvin, Steve Austin, Jeff Sheakley Jr., Richard See and Kindichaun Austin.
