Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:

Domestic disputes:

• Police arrested a man, 22, on a charge of domestic-violence assault at 6:54 a.m. Monday in the Mendenhall Valley. They lodged him at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center.


• At 12:21 p.m. Sunday, a woman reported that an orange and black Vortex backpack, a red Mammut avalanche beacon, miscellaneous women's clothing, hiking boots and a wallet were stolen from a Jeep Cherokee the previous night in the Auke Village campground. The value of the property was estimated at $755.

• The theft of a Dale Earnhardt flag was reported at 2:40 p.m. Sunday near Marsha Avenue in the Mendenhall Valley. The flag was valued at $25.

• At 7:06 p.m. Sunday, a man reported his car stereo was among items taken from a 1974 Volkswagen van near Crazy Horse Drive in the Mendenhall Valley. The value of the items was estimated at $100.

• An Xbox, game controllers and a DVD player kit were reported stolen at 9:06 a.m. Monday near Aisek Street in the Lemon Creek area. The missing items were valued at $390.


• A man reported at 3:45 p.m. Monday that his Cinema Drive residence was pelted with eggs.

Vehicle accidents:

• Police cited a man, 44, on a charge of failing to maintain a safe distance in traffic after an accident at 7:21 a.m. Monday on Glacier Highway. The man, driving a 1995 Ford truck, allegedly struck a 1998 Honda, driven by a man, 45. Damage to each vehicle was estimated at about $3,500.

• A man reported at 10:40 a.m. Monday that a piece of heavy equipment damaged his mailbox near Mendenhall Peninsula Road.

• A man, 21, reported at 11:08 a.m. Monday that the 1997 Dodge pickup he was driving on Glacier Highway struck a 2002 GMC pickup, operated by a woman, 25. Damage to the GMC was estimated at $1,000.

Hit and run:

• A woman reported a vehicle backed into her house, causing about $1,500 damage to the garage, at 9:50 p.m. Sunday near Julep Street in the Mendenhall Valley.
