Darby Brown doubles and steals home to lift Phillies over Athletics

Keaunna Miller struck out eight batters to lead the Marlins past the Cardinals, 8-7, in a Gastineau Little League Major Softball match-up.

Hailey Pusich doubled and scored twice and Sarah Roguska added two runs scored in the win.

Jennifer Nelson fanned five in four strong innings for the Cardinals.

Alissa Hulbert scored twice in the win.


Floors Galore Orioles 13, Winter & Lessimer Rockies 11

The Orioles' Malin Murray made a diving catch to end the game.


Cardinals 9, Orioles 5

Sage Davenport and Jennifer Nelson had two hits each and Alissa Hulbert scored three times to lead the Cardinals past the Orioles.

Nelson struck out 10 in five innings in the win.

Gabbie Saldivar had two hits and two runs scored while Tessa Miller hit a home run for the O's.

Cardinals 5, Reds 3

Jennifer Nelson edged Megan Mauseth in a pitcher's battle.

Nelson fanned 13 batters and yielded three hits in six innings while Mauseth countered with nine strikeouts and five hits.

Haylee Hodgson hit a home run and Nelson tripled for the Cardinals.

For the Reds, Taylor Larson had two hits and Peyton Millay homered.

Marlins 10, Reds 7

Kyra Uppida struck out eight in five innings as the Marlins toppled the Reds.

Uppida also had two hits and two runs scored in the win.

Hailey Pusich hit a three-run home run and Chandler Christensen had two hits and two runs scored for the marlins.


Phillies 5, A's 4

Darby Brown doubled and later scored the game-winning run on a steal of home to lead the Phillies past the A's.

Jackie Koperich singled, Brown doubled, Nethia Lavering had an RBI bunt and Hannah Massey tripled and scored in the win.

Krista Barril slugged a three-run homer for the A's.


Royals 4, Angels 2

The Royals fought back from a two-run deficit to upend the Angels.

The Angels' Kristian Petaja plated Garrett Grubert and Darien Stanger with a one-out single in the first to go up 2-0.

The Royals fought back with three runs in the fourth as Kohl Jaeger drove in Kevin O'Neal-Smith, Jonathon Hamey and Tasher Brice with a double.

The Royals tacked on an insurance run in the fifth as Joe Calnan sacrificed in Zach Cuddihy.

Marlins def. Royals

Phillip Fenumiai struck out 14 batters and went 2-for-3 at the plate as the Marlins upended the Royals.

Shamil Blaisdell pitched well for the Ryals.

Reliable Transfer Braves 7, Southeast Paving Astros 6

Jacob Calloway hit a three-run single for the Braves in their win over the Astros.

Kyle Gould had an RBI hit and a run scored, Jeffery Pusich had an RBI hit for the Astros.

The Braves' Jackson Lehnhart and the Astros' Gould both pitched well in the game.

Reliable Transfer Braves 7, Plumbing & Heating Devil Rays 4

Daniel Nore scored off a hit by Robbie Janes and Shawn Taylor came home off an RBI walk by Ethan Sied as the Braves topped the Devil Rays.

Billy Palmer and Julian Minne both scored, Jacob Calloway had an RBI and Jonah Swanson scored in the win.

Jackson Lehnhart had an inside-the-park home run and earned the pitching win. Billy Palmer earned the save in the fifth.


Reds 4, Phillies 1

Miles Bedford and Ty McMichael combined on the hill to limit the Phillies to one run as the Reds picked up a win.

Blaine Roeber and McMichael hit two-run triples while Garrett Jones, Bedford, Brooks Young and Xavier Dunn all scored in the win.

Zach Bursell hit an RBI single, plating Eric Fagerstrom, for the Phillies.

Nathan Fosket and Lance Ibesate both pitched three innings for the Phils.


Nugget Outfitters Twins 5, AML Diamondbacks 3

Julian Love yielded three runs on only three hits as the Twins downed the Diamondbacks.

Philip Murray singled and scored and Vincent Isturis walked and scored on Keith Flint's RBI single to give the Twins a 2-0 lead in the first inning.

The Diamondbacks tied the game in the fourth as Bo Damien doubled and scored and Hunter Madding singled and scored.

Alex Barto put the D-Backs ahead 3-2 when he singled and scored in the fifth.

The Twins rallied in the bottom half of the fifth, scoring three runs. Isturis had an RBI single and scored, Murray scored on a fielder's choice and Torey Franzen doubled and scored.

Franzen pitched the final two innings to pick up the save.

Nugget Outfitters Twins 11, Taku Oil Giants 8

The Twins climbed out of a six-run hole to top the Giants.

Julian Love plated Matt Smith on an RBI bunt, Zach Shauwacker hit an RBI single and Phillip Murray slashed a two-run double in the win.

Keith Flint had tow singles and Torey Franzen earned the pitching win in relief of Vinnie Isturis, who allowed only four hits.

Angels def. Giants

Dylan Baker, Jamie Daniel, Aaron Cohen and Valera Panov all had hits as the Angels topped the Giants.
