JUNEAU - An introduction to archery class will be offered June 1 through the Becoming an Outdoors Woman program. The class will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Juneau indoor shooting range on Montana Creek Road.
The cost is $35 and all materials are provided.
Kirk Lingofelt of the Alaska Department of Fish and Game will teach the course. Lingofelt, who has 10 years experience teaching outdoor skills classes and hunter education, works for the Department of Fish & Game's Hunter Information and Training and Mobile Shooting Sports program.
The BOW classes are offered by the Department of Fish and Game in conjunction with the Outdoor Heritage Foundation.
