Shirley Hubbard and Alexander Oliphant IV of Juneau were married April 10, 2004. The wedding and reception were held on their 37-foot Tollycraft, The Summer Place, in Andrews Bay, Wash.
The bride is the daughter of Dan Hubbard and Angie MacPherson. She is a graduate of Juneau-Douglas High School and is employed as a LearnNET Show Producer for Univar USA.
The groom is the son of Sandy and Sue Oliphant. He is a graduate of Juneau-Douglas High School and is self-employed as a computer programmer.
The maids of honor were Kristin Freng and Sue Oliphant. Bridesmaids were Alexa Gifford and Jaylene Lisle, and the flower girls were Melanie Marriot and Jennifer Framstad.
The best man was Christopher Shablak, and the groomsmen were Sandy Oliphant, Andrew Oliphant, Brant Oliphant, Chris Gifford, Kelly Freng, Jay Gilbert and Scott Stewart. Eliot and Lars Gifford were the ushers and the ring bearer was Ross Holeman.
The couple will make their home in Kirkland, Wash.
