Juneau police and fire officials and state police reported:

Driving without a license:

• At about 2:30 a.m. Sunday, a 57-year-old man was cited on a charge of driving without a license on Mendenhall Loop Road.

Drunken driving:

• At about 1 a.m. Sunday, Russell Smith, 35, was arrested and charged with drunken driving on Kiowa Drive. He was lodged at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center and the vehicle was impounded.

Found property:

• At about 11:05 a.m. Sunday, a 60-year-old woman reported a found gold nugget ring in the 6000 block of Glacier Spur Road.

Minors consuming:

• At about 9:40 p.m. Saturday, a 19-year-old man was cited on a charge of minor consumption in the 300 block of Gastineau Avenue.

• At about 3 a.m. Sunday, a 20-year-old man and an 18-year-old woman were each cited on a charge of minor consumption in the 9100 block of Cinema Drive.


• At about 1:10 p.m. Saturday, a 22-year-old woman reported that her unlocked Dodge was rifled through in the 8600 block of Dudley Street. A shoulder bag and contents worth $45, an iPod and headphones worth $100, an Olympus digital camera valued at $280 and a Kodak digital camera valued at $170 were taken from the vehicle.

• At about 1:15 p.m. Saturday, a 20-year-old woman reported that an unlocked Dodge was rifled through sometime Friday night on Short Court. Items totaling $120 were taken.

• At about 9 a.m. Sunday, a 60-year-old man reported the theft of an ice chest worth $550 in the 3800 block of Killewich Drive.

Traffic accidents:

• At about 3 p.m. Saturday, a Jeep driven by a 44-year-old man collided with a Toyota driven by an 18-year-old woman in the 8100 block of Glacier Highway. The Jeep sustained $200 in damage, and damage to the Toyota was estimated at $3,000.

• At about 4:20 p.m. Saturday, a 40-year-old man driving a Chevrolet was cited on a charge of failure to yield when his vehicle struck a Volkswagen driven by a 47-year-old man on Glacier Highway. The Volkswagen sustained about $15,000 in damage and the Chevrolet sustained about $4,000 in damage.


• At about 9:15 a.m. Sunday, a 28-year-old woman reported $2,000 in damage to her vehicle and $35 worth of gas taken in the 4400 block of Chelsea Court.

Vehicle rifling:

• At about 1:15 p.m. Saturday, a 39-year-old man reported that an unlocked Dodge was rifled through by a male suspect at Aurora Harbor.

• At about 5:50 p.m. Saturday, a 44-year-old man reported that his vehicle had been rifled through in the 8900 block of Haffner Court.

• At about 11:25 a.m. Sunday, a 49-year-old woman reported that her unlocked Toyota was rifled through on Friday night and some loose change was taken in the 8700 block of Haloff Way.
