Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:

Domestic disputes:

• Police arrested a man, 37, at 8:15 a.m. Tuesday in the Mendenhall Valley on a charge of domestic-violence assault and two counts of violating conditions of his release from custody pending other court matters. They lodged him at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center. Police reported the matter involved alcohol.

• Police arrested a woman, 61, on a charge of domestic-violence assault at 6:39 a.m. Wednesday in the Mendenhall Valley. Police reported the matter involved alcohol.

Theft:

• A man reported $100 was stolen at 1:28 p.m. Tuesday near Ninnis Drive in the Mendenhall Valley.

• At 4:48 p.m. Tuesday, a yellow mountain bike with shock absorbers was reported stolen Sunday night from the porch of a Columbia Boulevard residence in the Mendenhall Valley. The bike was valued at $50.

• At 6:56 p.m. Tuesday, a boy's 18-speed bicycle was reported stolen near Mendenhall Loop Road. The bike was valued at $600.

• A man reported a blue Bianchi bicycle and a wallet stolen at 7:19 p.m. Tuesday, somewhere in Juneau. Values were unknown.

• At 9:08 p.m. Tuesday, $377.17 was reported stolen from a South Franklin Street business.

Vandalism:

• Several bicycles were reported vandalized at 12:04 p.m. Tuesday near Tongass Boulevard in the Mendenhall Valley.

• At 5:43 p.m. Tuesday, a man reported his 2004 Dodge Ram was scratched with a key while it was parked overnight near Taku Boulevard in the Mendenhall Valley. Damage was estimated in excess of $1,000.

Vehicle accidents:

• Police cited a girl, 16, on a charge of careless driving after an accident at 3:41 p.m. Tuesday on Glacier Avenue at 12th Street. A 2001 Chevrolet Blazer, driven by the girl, allegedly struck a 2002 Toyota Rav4, operated by a woman, 45. Damage to the Chevrolet was estimated at $1,000. Damage to the Toyota was estimated at $3,500.

Found property:

• At 12:24 p.m. Tuesday, a man reported finding a 19-inch silver Kona mountain bike near Mint Way in the Mendenhall Valley. Police placed the bike in safekeeping.

Animal encounters:

• At 12:32 a.m. Wednesday, a bear was reported getting into a trash bin near Amalga Street in the Mendenhall Valley.
