• 17th annual Sea Coast Relay - The Southeast Road Runners present the 17th annual Sea Coast Relay on Saturday, May 26. This five-stage relay begins at Lena Beach Recreation Area, runs 21miles along scenic coastal routes, the Back Loop Road, the River Trail and finishes at the UAS campus admist the festivities of the UAS Community Day and Juneau Jazz and Classics Festival. Two to five person teams may register at Pavitt Health and Fitenss, either JRC/The Alaska Club location or the Nugget Alaska Outfitter. Registration deadline is Wednesday, May 23. • Juneau Women's Golf League - The Juneau Women's Golf League will start its season on Thursday, May 24, with a shotgun start at 6 p.m. at the Mendenhall Golf Course. The league is looking for women interested in playing golf. No prior experience is necessary to participate. Clubs and carts can be rented at the course. League play will be every Thursday at 6 p.m. through August 16. Golfers should contact the course if weather is questionable. • CCSL 7-a-side tournament - The Capital City Soccer League's 7-A-Side tournament will take place June 2 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Adair-Kennedy Memorial Park. Cost is $10 to register by May 21 and $15 by June 1. Men's and women's summer competitive leagues start June 24. Classic women's league is $50. Registration due by June 5. • CCSL Co-ed Masters Outdoor Soccer - The Capital City Soccer League will host masters outdoor soccer for players older than 30 on Sundays form 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Adair-Kennedy Memorial Park from April 22 to June 17. Cost is $25. Registration at www.juneausoccer.com. Info: CCSL, 523-9196.

• Co-ed Master's Indoor Soccer Sunday - The Co-Ed Master's Soccer Sundays is for experienced men and women soccer players over the age of 30. There will be no formal teams and no referees. • Dzantik'i Heeni open gym - Community Schools in cooperation with the PEP grant is sponsoring open gyms at Dzantik'i Heeni Middle School on Saturdays from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. for youth in grades 6-12. There is no charge and youth are encouraged to bring a basketball or volleyball. Info: Community Schools, 523-1774.

• Open Badminton Gym - There will be open badminton at Auke Bay School from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Mondays and Thursdays. All skill levels are encouraged to attend. Bring a racquet if you have one. Birdies will be provided. Cost is $3 per person. Info: Theresa, 790-2499.

• Zach Gordon Youth Center climbing wall - Climbing wall hours are 5-7 p.m. on Mondays, and 3:30-7 p.m. on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. The climbing wall can be used by people of all ages. Climbers age 20-younger climb free, while adults 21-older pay $5 to use the wall. Youth-adult interaction is encouraged, so an adult climbing with a youth pays no fee. • Evening masters swimming program - The Augustus Brown pool hosts a twice-weekly evening masters swimming program. The program will meet from 6:30-7:30 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and is designed to promote and improve the physical and mental well-being of adults age 19-older. Participants must be able to swim crawlstroke and backstroke. Info: Augustus Brown swim pool, 586-5325.

• Basketball/volleyball court rentals available - The Juneau Community Schools program has basketball/volleyball court rental times available from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturdays at Dzantik'i Heeni Middle School. The cost to rent the court is $20 per hour, which must be paid at the time of rental. This is for adult activities only. Info: Juneau Community Schools, 463-1717.

• Juneau Department of Parks and Recreation Wednesday and Saturday hikes - For updates on locations of Wednesday and Saturday group hikes, call the Juneau Parks and Recreation Hikes Hotline. Always remember to bring plenty of food and water, wear warm layers of clothing and proper footwear for the hike. No dogs or firearms are allowed. Wednesday hikes are limited to hikers 18 years of age or older. Saturday hikes are open to families, and children must be accompanied by an adult.
