Juneau painter Daniel DeRoux recently installed a 20-foot mural for the new Veterans Affairs Clinic opening this month in Anchorage. "A Military History of Alaska" is an Alaskan landscape composed of 256 six-inch square paintings of Alaska's military history, most of them sourced from the Alaska State Historical Library.
