FAIRBANKS - A second man has pleaded guilty to taking part in a shootout last year at the Super 8 Motel in Fairbanks, and charges against a third man will be dismissed.

The Fairbanks Daily News-Miner says 27-year-old Daniel A. McKinney pleaded guilty Monday to second-degree burglary and fourth-degree drugs misconduct. He is to receive an 8 1/2-year sentence with four years suspended.

His brother, 20-year-old Willie Graham, pleaded guilty last week for his role in the October shooting that involved eight men from Anchorage staying at the motel.

Assistant District Attorney Joe Dallaire says charges will be dismissed against 21-year-old Bradley Bailey-Smith, who had agreed to testify against Graham and McKinney.
